Ingredients
- 1 cup applesauce, unsweetened
- 1 cup water
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil or non-stick cooking spray
Instructions
- Wash hands with soap and warm water.
- In a medium bowl, mix the applesauce, water, eggs, and oil.
- Add the flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder. Stir until mostly smooth.
- Spray a medium pan with cooking spray or add 1 tablespoon oil over medium heat.
- Pour ½ cup batter for each pancake. Cook for about 1 minute, until bubbles form.
- Flip and cook 1 more minute, until golden brown.
- Repeat with remaining batter.
- Serve warm with sliced bananas, apples, or any fruit you have on hand.
